This recipe can be made using lots of different combinations of nuts, seeds and vegetables. Try it for Christmas or Easter as an alternative centerpiece.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 4 dashes of pepper
- 2 onions, chopped
- 60 g of celery, chopped
- 100 g of walnuts
- 1 tsp of dried basil
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- 100 g of sunflower seeds, finely ground
- 600 ml of soy milk
- 325 g of breadcrumbs
- 1 dash of salt
Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180 C / Gas 4 . Lightly oil a dish.Step 2
In a medium frying pan, gently cook the chopped celery and the onion in 3 teaspoons of water until softened.Step 3
In a large mixing bowl combine the cooked celery and onion with walnuts, ground sunflower seeds, soy milk, basil, oregano, breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper to taste; mix well. Place mixture in the prepared dish.Step 4
Bake for 60 to 90 minutes; until the nut loaf is cooked through.
