Panettone French Toast
Use up leftover panettone to create this quick, easy, indulgent snack.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 50ml semi skimmed milk
- 1 tblspn caster sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 knob unsalted butter
- 2 tblspn hazelnut chocolate spread
- 1 scoop cranberry sauce
- 1 dusting icing sugar

Prepare Ahead
You will need 4 slices of leftover panettone.
Instructions
- Beat together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Spread 2 slices of panettone with the hazelnut chocolate spread and sandwich with the other 2 slices. Dip both sides of the sandwiches into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak in well.
- Melt the butter in a non-stick frying pan, add the sandwiches and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and heated through. Dust with icing sugar and serve with cranberry sauce.
