Morrisons 2 Cheese & Ham Chicken Kyivs 260g
Not very nice
They were on offer, so I bought two packs. They are supposed to be Chicken Cordon Bleu (the ham and cheese cousin of Chicken Kiev). But there wasn't much cheese, and hardly any ham. There were four in the two packs I bought. I ate one, and threw three in the bin. Cheap they may be, but life is too short for eating this kind of food.

Morrisons Fishermans Pie 400g
For Potato Lovers
Lots and lots of potato. Good dollop of white sauce. Very little fish. And why frozen fish from the Pacific? Great Britain may be a long way from the sea, but there are plenty of fresh fish in the North Atlanntic, the North Sea, and the English Channel. Not a dish I will buy again.

Morrisons Plums 400g
Good For a Plum Compote
Like pretty well all fruit in British supermarkets; not really good for eating fresh. Always picked before they are ripe, and then always kept in refrigerated conditions until final sale. But excellent as stewed fruit (two hours in a low oven, with just added brown sugar and a little water). I buy three packs at a tiime, and the compote lasts me many day.

Morrisons French Camembert 250g
Forget It
Even after leaving it out of the fridge for 6 days, it still had no smell and no real taste. Might just as well have eaten Kraft Philadelphia Cream Spread. A real Normandy camembert should have a strong smell, strong taste, and have never been kept in a fridge. Alas; too many "French" camemberts are made for the English market where strong smelling and strong tasting cheeses are not welcome. For a good Normandy camembert, Pont l'Eveque, or Livarot you have to swim the Channel.

Morrisons The Best French Camembert 250g
Good
A good camembert. Not up to Le Rustique, but good camemberts are hard to find in English supermarkets. Why on earth the instructions say to COOK it, I cannot think. Soft French cheeses do not need cooking. Nor should they be kept in the fridge unless they are really, really ripe and running out of the room.
