Brilliant results!
Loved these croissants. I have tried a lot of ready-to-bake croissants, and these ones are one of the best ones. The trick is (for all of them) is to preheat the oven and the tray really well (I use 180C with fan) and also to let them cool properly afterwards (30 mins minimum).
Worst croissant I\x27ve ever had.
I know a quality croissant and this definitely is not. I can't even describe the taste, like cardboard covered with soap powder. Totally disgusting. Don't even think I'm going to give the remainder to the pigeons. Won't make that mistake again.
Why changing something good?
Being buying those for months and got addicted. Delicious and tasty. Then, all of a sudden, they change the formula to something horrible. Unbelievable how a small change can ruin your morning work routine
strange taste
These were disappointing unfortunately. Tasted like they had been made using a cooking oil rather than butter and didn't taste nice at all.
Recipe has changed
Agree with previous review. Have been buying these for ages and last batch were doughy and with a strange sweetness. Maybe just a bad batch and I might try them again in the future but in the meantime I will buy elsewhere.
very disappointed
Bought these for Christmas Day breakfast, which they basically spoilt for my family. They tasted weird and did not cook through properly. Bought these instead of pre-cooked ones to take up less freezer space and thought they would be nicer as freshly cooked. Will not make that mistake again.
