Got it hoping that it is going to be rapeseed oil. Luckily it was! Hopefully that will be the case in the future as well.
I have bought this oil multiple times over the last year, and it has been Rapeseed Oil every time. Recommended.
Used to be a good quality rapeseed oil with high levels of monounsaturated fats at £1.50. Now a cheap sunflower oil with low levels of monounsaturated fats. Sunflower oil also releases acrylamides at a lower temperature. Recommend buying the KTC rapeseed oil instead if you are rebuying this and want the same as you had before.
Last couple of times ive used it for deep frying and it leaves a strange taste on the food... Back to crisp n dry 100%
I have been using Morrisons vegetable oil for quite a while now and it has been Rapeseed oil, now it seems to have changed to sunflower oil which is not as healthy as rapeseed. I use it in bread baking so it looks like I will go back to olive oil. I am glad I checked the ingredients before buying. I feel deceived by this change. Bring back rapeseed please.
Used for baking seems fine
