75g dry pasta weighs approx. 180g when cooked |
My fault for not paying more attention I suppose, but honestly I didn't know that pasta came in bags this small, I've never come across it before. These are 250g bags which are obviously half the size of a normal bag of pasta. It feels sneaky and cheap - rather than charging me £1.50 for a bag (which I'd probably pay, because the fun green pasta costs more) they have kept the price normal and shrunk the pack, so I didn't realise until this woefully small pack arrived.
Over 50% of the pasta was all broken and smashed up so couldnt do much with it more pennies wasted at Morrisons
I liked this pasta, but I didn't realise it was 250g. Thought it was 500g, as the usual packs are, so that was my mistake.
