Yummy Lentil Bolognese

I used this to make a vegan bolognese for a friend, it went down a treat! So simple to use and tasted great!

Will be adding this to a future basket.

I tried the Merchant Gourmet Spanish-Style Quinoa and loved it, so I thought I would try this one, and I am so glad I did, it was even better. Lovely flavours, went really well with a fillet of fresh fish.

My new favourite

I was worried these weren't going to be as good as the cajun ones but they did not disappoint! Such a good rich flavour and worked perfectly in stuffed papers

lovely tomato flavour

made the French Sausage cassoulet recipe that's on the package, just added my own extras, onion,mushrooms, cubed carrots, chopped lardons, took skin off sausage and cubed. added lentils really tasty.

Tasty but a tad salty

These had great flavour and doubtless are really healthy and full of fibre. And they are fabulously convenient. But I thought them a bit too salty, and I normally like a lot of salt. I wish they would reduce the salt content, as it's easy to add more for those who want to!

Really nice flavour

After trying the other puy lentils which tasted doughy and disappointing, I decided to try the flavoured ones in the hopes they would be more palatable and I wasn't disappointed. These lentils are actually quite nice and make a quick, easy lunch while I'm working. Goes well with chicken.
