Looks like tuna, colour of tuna, texture of tuna, oily like tuna in oil, lemon and pepper flavours coming through. Tastes like soya protein. Jury is out.
I suggest if you mistakenly buy this food, then open the tin and empty the contents into an outside bin. I've no idea how this product ever got marketed as "tuna", unless the company is run by Cats who are trolling vegans.
Tastes like I imagine cat food to taste
Maybe if Morrisons binned all the "I accidentally bought" reviews you'd get a fair set of reviews from the target market? It doesn't taste like tuna, but it does have the chewy/meaty texture to replace tuna in a sandwich or wrap. The lemon pepper is the best one, the others definitely need flavour adding to them. I drain, add mayo or yoghurt dressing, onions, peppers and serve in a wrap or salad.
awful!!! Horrible.
Got an amazing and addictive sauce tho. Would probably be good with some seaweed/capers to make it more fish-y. The texture is also not the most tuna-ry but is soya chunks which are kinda tuna chunk like. A little flakey?
