Flavoured jelly
The consistency was more of a flavoured jelly than marmalade.
where have the shreds gone?
I'm sure I have been keeping Duerrs in business. I rated this marmalade so highly, but suddenly it has changed....I have to dig around in the jar to find any shreds..there were plenty before, and on top of that they seem to be phasing out their wonderful trademark easy open lid, as now the ones delivered to me have ordinary style lids. Why? Okay I have been smart enough to keep one easy open lid and just changed them over, but I still feel swindled. And Duerrs..please I implore you put lots of shreds back into your fine cut marmalade. It's no fun searching for 2 or 3 measly bits, and it doesn't taste the same. I am going to try some other makes, so you may be losing the sale of 52 jars annually !!!
Not too sweet
I agree with the reviews below - not too sweet and 'proper' ingredients, like a marmalade should be.
impressive indeed
picked up today, as fed up with ordinary fructose syrup gunk. this is made with sugar, a REAL marmalade indeed. I like thick cut, but this is still a winner for its bold and certainly holds its weight. I do like marmalade, and out of all to date this is in the top 5, only 3 slots left. very nicely done
Marmalade
Just the best. Although expensive, you get what you pay for. Delicious, not too sweet, just the right of Tangyness. Buy.
Was ok
Rather bitter, not much peel and quite expensive. Not trying another one.
