Witches Cauldron Roasted Pumpkin Cheese Fondue

It wouldn’t be Halloween without a little hocus pocus. A tasty, spellbinding recipe to enjoy at home.

Ingredients

  • 100 g of crème fraiche
  • 1 loaf of crusty bread
  • 1 tbsp of cornflour
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 200 g of cheese
  • 1 whole of pumpkin

Method

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 180°C / gas mark 4 / 160°C fan
  2. Step 2

    Cut the top off the pumpkin (into a lid) and scoop out the insides
  3. Step 3

    Place the lid back on the pumpkin, place onto a baking tray and cook in the oven as per its cooking guide
  4. Step 4

    In a bowl, mix together the grated cheeses and cornflour until evenly coated
  5. Step 5

    Once the pumpkin is cooked, remove from the oven and fill with the cheese mixture, 2 tbsp of white wine (optional), crème fraiche and garlic
  6. Step 6

    Turn the oven up to 200°C and place the filled pumpkin back in the oven until all of the cheese has melted
  7. Step 7

    Serve with breads and a selection of veg of your choice for dipping and enjoy
