Posh dogs, great as a snack or light lunch but you could also cut the brioche fingers into four once filled and use them as a party snack or canapé.

Ingredients

  • 1 squeeze of american yellow mustard
  • 1 squeeze of ketchup
  • 8 brioche rolls
  • 454 g of turkey sausages
  • 1 red onion
  • 10 ml of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 onion
  • 10 g of sugar

Method

  1. Step 1

    While the sausages are cooking, gently melt the butter in a pan over a low heat and add the sliced onions and a pinch of salt and pepper and stir to coat and let soften for 10 minutes stirring occasionally
  2. Step 2

    When the onions have become soft and slightly translucent add the sugar and balsamic vinegar and stir through, remove from heat and keep warm.
  3. Step 3

    Slice open the tops of the brioche fingers and place in some of the onion mix into each one, then place in a cooked sausage in each and then top with a drizzle of mustard and ketchup
