
Tasty Ham Canapés

Ingredients
- 2 tsp of butter
- 4 tsp of dijon mustard, or English, for spreading
- 150g princes cured ham
- 12 slices of rustic-style bread
- 3 spring onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 handful of chives
- 1 handful of parsley
- black pepper, to taste
Method
Step 1
Chop the Princes Cured Ham into tiny cubes, about 1cm square.Step 2
Toast the slices of bread. Spread all of them with butter, then spread half of them with a little Dijon or English mustard. Top these with half the ham, and the spring onion. Cut the toasts into bite-sized pieces and garnish with parsley.Step 3
Top the remaining slices of toast with chopped tomatoes and the rest of the ham. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with blackpepper and sprinkle with chives.Step 4
Add freshly ground black pepper and serve the canapés.
