Ingredients
- 130g tamarind paste
- 100g sugar
- 5g salt
- 4g chilli powder
- 360ml water
Method
Step 1
In a saucepan, combine the tamarind paste, sugar, salt, chilli powder and 360ml of water to the saucepan.Step 2
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.Step 3
Reduce heat and simmer gently until the mixture has thickened to your desired consistency.Step 4
Remove from the heat and allow the chutney to cool completely before serving.
