Ingredients
- 600 g of chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 2 tsp of ginger & garlic paste
- 150 g of plain flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of chilli powder
- 75 g of gram flour
- 4 tbsp of lemon juice
- 5 ml of vegetable oil, for deep frying
- 150 g of rice flour
- 2 tsp of garam masala
Method
Step 1
Marinate the chicken in the salt, ginger and garlic paste, lemon juice, one teaspoon of the red chilli powder. Cover the chicken and place in the fridge for an hour.Step 2
In a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour, plain flour, the remaining red chilli powder and salt.Step 3
Heat a deep fat fryer to 180C/350F Dust the marinated chicken in the seasoned flour mixture, then deep-fry the chicken until crisp and cooked through. Sprinkle the chicken with garam masala.
