Ingredients
- Oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp dried methi
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp chilli powder
- Salt
- 3 green chillies
- 1 can chickpeas
- 1 small potato
- Fresh coriander
Method
Step 1
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat.Step 2
Add the chopped onion to the pan and cook until softened and lightly browned.Step 3
Add the garlic powder, ginger powder, dried methi, turmeric, curry powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, chopped green chillies, and salt to the pan then stir to combine the spices.Step 4
Add the drained chickpeas to the pan and stir well to combine.Step 5
Cook the mixture until it’s golden brown, stirring occasionally, until the chickpeas are heated through and the flavours have melded.Step 6
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
