classic sausage sarnie with a twist. Top your sausages with caramelised red
onions and cherry tomatoes and complete with two slices of Hovis® Soft White. Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 3 sausages
- 2 slices of hovisⓡ soft white medium sliced
- 100 g of cherry tomatoes
Method
Step 1
To cook the sausages, heat the grill to high. Place the sausages on a baking tray and grill for 15 minutes or until cooked through, remembering to turn occasionally.Step 2
Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a frying pan and then add sliced onion. Cook slowly for around 15-20 minutes or until they become soft and a golden caramel colour. Place the tomatoes in a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes or until blistered. Set aside to cool.Step 3
To serve, butter the HovisⓇ Soft White and then place the sausages on top, cover with the onions and tomatoes and the second slice of bread. Serve immediately.
