Ingredients

  • 150 g of caster sugar
  • 24 raisins
  • 0.5 small of oranges, zest only
  • 12 glacé cherries
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp of milk
  • 300 g of chocolate flavour frosting
  • 45 g of dried cranberries, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp of baking powder
  • 150 g of stork, at room temperature
  • 4 curly wurly chocolate bars
  • 150 g of self-raising flour

Method

  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. Line a deep muffin tin with 12 paper cases.
  2. Step 2

Place the milk, eggs, Stork, caster sugar, flour, baking powder and zest in a mixing bowl. Beat using an electric hand whisk. Stir in the dried cranberries and spoon into the cases.
  3. Step 3

Bake for 20 minutes until well risen and lightly golden. Cool on a wire rack.
  4. Step 4

To decorate, spread the frosting over the cooled cupcakes. Slice each Curly Wurly in half widthways, then cut into lengths to make antlers. Push the antlers into the cupcakes, place a cherry on each cake to make a nose and put 2 raisins on each cake to make the eyes.
