Ingredients

  • 300g peeled Pistachios
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil (e.g. Groundnut oil)

Method

  1. Step 1

    Add 300g of peeled Pistachios into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Step 2

    To start off with, it will go all powdery like breadcrumbs but keep blending after a while it will start to get smooth and slightly oily looking.
  3. Step 3

    Add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of a neutral oil (I used Groundnut oil) and keep blending to a smooth consistency.
  4. Step 4

    Store in a clean sterilised jar.
