Parsnip, Spinach & Sweet Potato Puree

This is a tasty puree which is great for growing little ones. Top tip, add a tiny bit of grated apple for a sweet fruity zing.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 medium parsnip, peeled and diced
  • 150 g of frozen sweet potato
  • 50 g of frozen spinach

Method

  1. Step 1

    Boil diced parsnip, sweet potato and apple and simmer gently for 15 minutes until tender.
  2. Step 2

    Add the spinach and simmer for 2 minutes.
  3. Step 3

    Puree in a blender until smooth.
  4. Step 4

    Freeze any leftovers in small pots or ice cube trays.
