A famous and indulgent starter, named after one of the richest – and flamboyant – Americans of all time. Treat yourself, and someone special, to a plateful of half-shelled Oysters garnished with a rich sauce of greens and butter. Time and servings

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 50 g of breadcrumbs
- 40 g of butter
- 1 handful of parsley
- 6 oysters
- 40 g of parmesan, grated
Method
Step 1
Heat a little butter in a pan and fry the onions, parsley and spinach for several minutes.Step 2
Finely dice the onion, then roughly chop the parsley and spinach.Step 3
Put a spoonful of the mixture on each shucked (opened and prepared) oyster.Step 4
Put into the oven to bake for 15 minutes, or until your oysters start to curl at the edges.Step 5
Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and parmesan over each oyster and add a small knob of butter.Step 6
Drizzle with freshly squeezed lemon juice to serve and enjoy.
