Oriental Lamb Stirfry

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of light soy sauce
- 30 ml of runny honey
- 90 ml of worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of freshly chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 400 g of fresh egg noodles
- 300 g of stir-fry vegetables
- 2 pinches of pepper
- 400 g of lean lamb leg steaks, cut into stir-fry strips
- 1 tsp of chinese 5-spice powder
- 0.5 tsp of dried chilli flakes
- 1 piece of fresh root ginger, use a 2.5cm piece then peel and finely chop
- 2 tsp of rapeseed oil
- 1 large garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 pinches of salt
Method
Step 1
To prepare the marinade; in a shallow bowl mix all the marinade ingredients together. Add the lamb, stir to coat, cover and set aside for 10 minutes.Step 2
Heat the oil in a large, non-stick frying pan or wok, remove the lamb from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, tossing frequently.Step 3
Add the reserved marinade,the stir- fry ingredients and noodles, toss gently and cook for a further 2-3 minutes. Season, if required.Step 4
Garnish with the parsley and soy sauce, if used and serve immediately.
