This zingy Mint & Chilli Chutney is the ideal addition to any barbecue or grilled dish. Easy to make and sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp chipotle paste
  • Handful of fresh mint
  • Handful of fresh coriander
  • 200g Greek style yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 green chillies

Method

  1. Step 1

    In a blender, add in the mint, coriander, lemon juice, salt and green chilli and blitz together. Add the yogurt and chipotle paste to a bowl and mix it with the mint mixture. That’s the mint and coriander chutney ready.
  2. Step 2

    In a blender, combine the mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, and green chillies.
  3. Step 3

    Blend the ingredients together until you have a smooth, vibrant green sauce.
  4. Step 4

    In a separate bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and chipotle paste.
  5. Step 5

    Gradually stir the blended herb mixture into the yogurt and chipotle paste until everything is well combined.
  6. Step 6

    Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning with salt and lemon juice as needed.
