Ingredients
- 3 limes, juice only
- 100 ml of tequila
- 100 ml of cointreau
- 0.5 tsp of salt, and extra for the rims of the glasses
- 1 bag of ice cubes, use as many as required
- 500 ml of soda water
- 300 g of strawberries, hulled
Method
Step 1
Liquidise the strawberries until smooth and stir with the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and salt. Add ice to a jug and pour the strawberry margarita mixture over.Step 2
Stir then top with the soda. Prepare the glasses by dipping them upside-down in a saucer of water then a saucer of salt.
