Hot Dogs with Caramelised Onions

Delicious Morrisons The Best sausages taste even better when paired with slow-cooked caramelised onions in a crusty baguette. Mmm-yeah.

Ingredients

  • 6 drizzles of mustard
  • 1 tsp of sunflower oil
  • 3 large of baguettes
  • 2 large of onions
  • 6 pork sausages
  • 6 dashes of ketchup
  • 25 g of butter

Method

  1. Step 1

    Peel and slice the onions to 1/8 inch thickness.
  2. Step 2

    Melt the butter and oil together on a low heat in a large saucepan. Add the onions and cook slowly until the onions reduce and are a golden brown colour.
  3. Step 3

    Bake the sausages in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Step 4

    Cut the baguette in half, fill with onion, sausage and relish as desired.
