Honey and Mustard Glazed Gammon

Ingredients

  • 50 g of wholegrain mustard
  • 50 g of honey
  • 1 gammon joint (750g)
  • 100 g of soft brown sugar

Method

  1. Step 1

    Wrap the gammon joint in foil and roast at 180 degrees as per pack instructions.
  2. Step 2

    Whilst the gammon is roasting, place the sugar and water into a pan and slowly bring to the boil. Cook until it turns golden brown.
  3. Step 3

    Stir in the honey and Mustard.
  4. Step 4

    When the Gammon is cooked, remove it from the foil, pour over the glaze and roast for a further 10 minutes.
  5. Step 5

    Baste half way through and again at the end.
  6. Step 6

    Allow the joint to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
