Quick and easy to make, these delicious cookies are a great treat to accompany an afternoon cuppa!

Ingredients

  • 150 g of chocolate chips
  • 3 whites only of 3 eggs
  • 230 g of golden caster sugar ( or caster sugar)
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 40 g of dark cocoa powder
  • 0.25 salt

Method

  1. Step 1

    In a clean bowl, whisk the egg whites until light and fluffy.
  2. Step 2

    Add the vanilla extract, and then whisk in the cocoa powder.
  3. Step 3

    Beat in the sugar and salt then fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Step 4

    Line 2 trays with baking paper, then spoon on 1 tablespoon of mix for each cookie.
  5. Step 5

    Make sure you only put 6 spoonfuls on each tray and that they are spread apart as the mixture spreads further whilst cooking.
  6. Step 6

    Bake at 160 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
  7. Step 7

    Cool and enjoy!
