Eton Mess Trifle Shots

5 total- 300 ml of whipping cream
- 2 tbsp of strawberry jam
- 200 ml of custard
- 4 meringue nests
- 200 g of strawberries, hulled and sliced
Method
2 stepsStep 1
Place the meringue nests into a mixing bowl and use your fingers to crumble them. Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks, then fold in the meringue, the strawberry jam and about two thirds of the strawberries.
Step 2
Divide the meringue mixture between 6 shot glasses then spoon a little of the custard over the top of each meringue layer. To decorate, place a strawberry slice into the top of each one.
