Easy Pizza

Ingredients

  • 0.5 tsp of baking powder
  • 500 g of natural yoghurt
  • 500 g of self raising flour
  • 200 g of mozzarella, You can use cheddar cheese or a combo of different cheeses if you prefer
  • 300 g of passata, (you won’t need all of this)
  • 15 g of rocket, to serve
  • 1 bud light lager
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 3 g of salt

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat the oven.
  2. Step 2

    Mix together the flour, yoghurt, baking powder, olive oil and a pinch of salt.
  3. Step 3

    Knead the dough and shape into a flat disk (for that authentic texture if you have any semolina or polenta flour use this to dust the dough when rolling out).
  4. Step 4

    Heat a pan over a low heat and brush with a little oil. Place the dough into the pan, cook for 2-3 minutes on one side and flip for the other. You can also roll out the dough and place onto a baking tray and bake in the oven without toppings for 3-4 minutes, then top with your favorite toppings.
  5. Step 5

    If your pan is safe to go in the oven use that like a deep pan pizza, if not transfer to a baking tray.
  6. Step 6

    Now you are ready to top your pizza, cover with a good spoonful of passata.
  7. Step 7

    Top with cheese and whatever toppings you want to use. Toppings of your choice, some ideas include: Sausage Pepperoni Jalapenos Olives Garlic Oil Mushrooms
  8. Step 8

    Place the pizza in your pre heated oven and bake for 5-6 minutes, till the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  9. Step 9

    Serve with rocket leaves and a little drizzle of garlic olive oil.
  10. Step 10

    This dish goes well when served with Bud Light beer.
