Chilli Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients
- 250 ml of tomato ketchup
- 100 ml of lemon juice
- 2 red chillies
- 1 tbsp of sesame seeds
- 200 g of demerara sugar
- 0.5 tsp of smoked paprika
- 250 ml of clear honey
- 1 kg of chicken drumsticks
Method
Step 1
Heat oven to 220°C / gas mark 6 / 200°C fan and place the chicken drumsticks on a large baking tray.Step 2
In a pan mix together the honey, ketchup, lemon juice, demerara sugar and smoked paprika, simmer until the sugar has dissolved.Step 3
Cool the mixture slightly and then pour over the drumsticks.Step 4
Finely chop the chillies.Step 5
Cook for 15 mins until sticky and golden, then add more glaze and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped chillies.Step 6
Cook for a further 15 mins until the chicken is piping hot throughout.Step 7
Serve and enjoy.
