Butternut Squash, Carrot & Sweetcorn Puree

This is an easy puree to make and combines 3 nutritious vegetables. Adding pureed corn to your baby’s food from 6 months is a good idea to give added texture and taste.

Ingredients

  • 40 g of frozen sweetcorn
  • 300 g of frozen butternut squash
  • 75 g of frozen carrot

Method

  1. Step 1

    Put the butternut squash and carrot into a saucepan and cover with boiling water.
  2. Step 2

    Cook for 7 minutes.
  3. Step 3

    Add the sweetcorn and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Step 4

    Blend to a puree or your desired consistency with a blender.
  5. Step 5

    Freeze any leftovers in small pots or ice cube trays.
