Ingredients
- 40 g of butter
- 1 tsp of cumin seeds
- 2 kg of carrots
- 1 orange
Method
Step 1
Heat the butter in a large lidded pan. Add the cumin and cook for 1 minute. Add the carrots, orange zest and juice and season.Step 2
Replace the lid and cook on a low heat for 25 minutes shaking the pan regularly. Remove the lid, increase the heat and cook until the liquid forms a syrupy glaze - be careful the carrots don't burn.
