Crunchy and simple to make – these Baked Pitta Triangles are the perfect accompaniment to any dip.

Ingredients

  • 100 ml of olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp of garlic salt
  • 12 wholemeal pittas
  • 1 tsp of dried parsley
  • 0.5 dried basil

Method

  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas mark 6.
  2. Step 2

    Cut each pitta into 8 triangles and place onto baking tray.
  3. Step 3

    In a bowl combine oil, pepper, garlic salt, basil and parsley then bush each triangle with the mixture.
  4. Step 4

    Bake the triangles in the oven for about 7 minutes until golden brown. Then serve when done.
