Quick and easy, and oh so tasty – a gorgeous lamb mince recipe accompanied with flavours of ginger, garlic and coriander, to be served with rice! This recipe has been kindly provided by AHDB

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cm of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 2 handfuls of freshly chopped coriander
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tsps of garam masala
  • 500 g of lamb mince

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat a large non-stick frying pan and cook the mince, onion, garlic and ginger for 5-7 minutes.
  • Step 2

    Reduce the heat, add the tomatoes, chillies, seasoning, garam masala and half the coriander.
  • Step 3

    Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 4

    Garnish with remaining coriander and serve with rice, poppadums and a selection of relishes.
