Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
- 50g of plain flour
- 1 teaspoon of garlic granules
- 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 75ml of milk or a plant-based alternative
- 50g of panko breadcrumbs
- A little spray of sunflower oil
- Your favourite dipping sauce to serve
Method
Step 1
Start by whisking together your flour, garlic granules, paprika, and milk in a bowl until you have a smooth, thick batter. In a separate shallow bowl or plate, spread out your breadcrumbs.Step 2
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter so it is completely covered, let any extra drip off, and then roll it in the breadcrumbs until it has a nice, even coating.Step 3
Arrange the florets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Give them a quick spray with a little oil to help them brown off properly. Cook at 190°C for about 15 minutes, giving the basket a gentle shake halfway through until they look golden and feel nice and firm.Step 4
Once they are done, serve them up straight away while they are still hot and crunchy. They are brilliant on their own or tossed in a bit of hot sauce if you are feeling brave.
