The sweetness of the clementines complements the bitterness of the dark chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt for good measure.

Ingredients

  • 200 g of dark chocolate
  • 1 pinch of sea salt
  • 5 clementines or satsumas

Method

  1. Step 1

    Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Step 2

    Peel the clementines, making sure all pith is removed.
  3. Step 3

    Melt the chocolate in a bowl over boiling water until fully melted and smooth, making sure the bowl doesn’t touch the water.
  4. Step 4

    Dip the clementine segments into the melted chocolate until they are half covered.
  5. Step 5

    Place the clementine segments onto the baking tray and sprinkle with sea salt.
  6. Step 6

    Chill them in the fridge for around 15 mins.
  7. Step 7

    Serve and enjoy.
