Preparation And Usage
Good advice
Don't use me with ericaceous plants.
Before use, rework potting mix between hands to reconstitute.
Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust.
Wearing gloves is a good idea, and don't forget to wash your hands afterwards!
Potting & re-potting
1 The first step is finding a pot, choose one that is slightly larger with good drainage holes.
2 Place a layer of potting mix in the base of your new pot. For best results, add a layer of Westland hydroleca before the potting mix. Hydroleca is great at absorbing excess water, keeping plant roots dry.
3 Remove the plant from its current pot. Turn the plant sideways & gently hold by the stems or leaves. Tap the bottom of the pot until the plant slides out.
4 Place the plant into its new pot, ensuring the root ball is slightly below the rim of the new pot. Fill the pot with potting mix & water well. You can top with a layer of Hydroleca for a beautiful finish.
