1 Wash hands with soap & water, rinse and dry
2 Remove testfrom sealed pouch and place on clean, flat surface
3 Rotate and remove lancet cap
4 Clean the fingertip to be pricked with the alcohol swab, allow to dry
5 Without touching the fingertip, gently massage the middle or ring finger. Place the open end of lancet to the side of the fingertip and press. Firmly until a click is heard. Wipe away the first sign of blood using a piece of tissue paper
6 Gently massage from palm to finger to form a rounded drop of blood
7 Holding the collection tube horizontally, touch the end of the tube against the blood drop until the blood fills the tube to top
8 Hold the collection tube vertically against the sample well (i) to dispense the blood into the sample well
9 Add 1 drop of buffer solution and set a timer for 10 minutes
Results in 10 minutes. Do not interpret after 15mins
