Cooking Instructions - General. The following instructions are a guideline only. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight and cook from chilled.; Grill - From Chilled. To grill from chilled preheat the grill to a moderate heat. Remove all packaging and place burgers on the rack of grill pan. During cooking: Grill under a medium heat for 15 minutes, turning frequently to ensure evenly cooked throughout. After cooking. Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Heat the pan until piping hot and add butter which should sizzle when introduced to the pan. Fry the burger each side for between 3-5 minutes and ensure cooked throughout.

The majority of the Wild Boar we work with roams the Spanish mountains where their populations need to be controlled due to a lack of natural predators in these regions. This means that to keep populations healthy and to protect the climate an agreed number are culled each year. The wild boar we work with enjoy a natural diet that includes acorns, fallen olives, roots and foliage native to the mountains they roam.
