Recipe : Karela Masaledar
Ingredients:
1 Pack Taj Frozen Karela, 2tsp Red Chilli Powder, 2 tbsp Cumin Powder, Salt to Taste, 2 tbsp Coriander Powder, 2 tbsp Dry Mango Powder, 1 tsp Turmeric Powder, 3 tbsp Oil, 1 Onion (thickly sliced), 1 Cup Tomato Puree.
Method:
Heat oil in a pan, add sliced onions & cook for 1/2 a minute.
Add Taj Frozen Karela. Cook covered on low heat. Stir occasionally.
Add the dry masala when karela is almost cooked. Add tomato puree & sal. Cook covered on low heat karela is fully cooked & tender.
Tips: Soak Karela in salted water to reduce bitterness for 3-4 hours.
Ensure that you do not add any water to this vegetable.
