Technical Specification: Uses 4 x D Batteries (Included). Remove the plastic disc from the battery compartment before use.

Battery Replacement: Twist the black circular light housing to open, remove the battery carrier from the body of the lantern, remove and dispose of the old discharged batteries, then insert the new batteries observing the correct polarity, replace the battery holder into the lantern body ensuring the 2 springs are facing outwards from the lantern body, lastly screw the black circular lamp housing back onto the main body with the metal contacts facing towards the switch, make sure not to over tighten.
