Our Shicken® story began at the kitchen table, after we had spent years developing our unique plant-based Shicken pieces to be as close a match to the meat alternative as possible. One crazy evening in lockdown, we decided to finally open up our kitchen and start sharing our family recipes - supported by our team of chief tasters (the kids!) and the hard-working packing team (our dedicated parents).

Our vision was simple - to offer vegan alternatives to your favourite meat-based foods, allowing more people to enjoy a plant-based diet without sacrificing taste, texture and most importantly, the enjoyment of delicious Asian inspired dishes.

Microwave - From Chilled. 5 Mins
Remove sleeve and pierce film lid in several places. Place directly into the microwave. Heat on full power for 2. 5 minutes. Half way through the cook time, peel back film lid, add 2 tbsp. (30ml) of water, stir well and re-cover. Heat on full power for 2.5 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Stir before serving.
After heating
Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
