Our Shicken® story began at the kitchen table, after we had spent years developing our unique plant-based Shicken pieces to be as close a match to the meat alternative as possible. One crazy evening in lockdown, we decided to finally open up our kitchen and start sharing our family recipes - supported by our team of chief tasters (the kids!) and the hard-working packing team (our dedicated parents).

Our vision was simple - To offer vegan alternatives to your favourite meat-based foods, allowing more people to enjoy a plant-based diet without sacrificing taste, texture and most importantly, the enjoyment of delicious Asian inspired dishes.

Microwave - From Chilled. 5 Mins
Remove sleeve and pierce film lid in several places. Place directly into the microwave. Heat on full power for 2.5 minutes. Half way through the cook time, peel back film lid, add 2 tbsp. (30ml) of water, stir well and re-cover. Heat on full power for 2.5 minutes. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Stir before serving.
After Heating
Check food is piping hot. Do not reheat once cooled.
