A deliciously rich, smooth and fruity wine made from Tempranillo and Shiraz grapes. Notes of ripe berries with intense red fruit and plum flavours are elegantly balanced with a touch of sweet spice on the finish.

History

Muriel Wines started with Bodegas Muriel, its founding estate and brand, the first winery in Elciego, Rioja, established in 1926 by José Murúa Villaverde. It was re-established 60 years later, in 1986, by José's son Julián Murúa. Since then, the winery has been growing constantly and developing with the objective to produce the best quality wines. There winemaking process is focused on creating unique, complex, aromatic well made wines.

Vinification Details

Harvested in October by a mixture of hand and machine, grapes have then been crushed and destemmed before fermentation for 15 days in stainless steel tanks.
