Harvest began in the first week of September for the Merlot component and ended in October with the Primitivo grapes. They were then crushed and destemmed and left to ferment in stainless steel tanks for 14 days at 26 degrees Celsius. The Montepulciano grapes also had barrel aging for 12 months.
