History
The wines are made by Bordeaux-born pioneer Hervé J. Fabre, offering a range of beautifully crafted wines, combining Argentina's purity of fruit and clear varietal expression with the elegance and complexity which are the hallmarks of Hervé's classical background.
Underpinning all of this is the unshakeable belief in the local terroirs, and determination that all our wines should express these terroirs as elegantly as possible.

Regional Information
Mendoza has an enviable array of grape varieties, many of which are planted at high altitudes. The long summers mean the wines have wonderfully pure tasting fruit, and Parilla Malbec by Viñalba is a great example of this. The vines are grown in the foothills of mountain ranges, more than 950m above sea level. This terroir benefits from alluvial soils and the vines are 30 years old on average. Our vineyards use low frequency irrigation for controlling vigour and sun exposure to produce high-quality grapes.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red colour with violet tones. This Malbec has a vibrant fresh nose of juicy black cherries and liquorice. On the palate it is complex, with soft tannins and plenty of red dark fruits. A great wine to enjoy on its own or with red meat.
