That's exactly what the late Wyndham Hill-Smith did when he founded Oxford Landing in 1958. It's a location you don't forget (or leave) in a hurry. The gobsmacking River Murray winds its way through the rugged rural landscape, rippling with life and promise. A sense of community is the heart of the South Australian region and the river is the lifeblood that keeps it flowing.

Oxford Landing Estates

Fermentation was carried out in a combination of static and rotary fermenters under warm temperature conditions for six to seven days. This creates balance between extracting the appropriate tannins for wine structure and retaining fruit flavour and aromatics. A further gentle reverse osmosis process gives the wine a lighter, more approachable 10.5% abv.
