Oatly was born in Sweden in the 1990s and ever since, there has been a rumor circulating that we are from Finland. This is entirely false. Of course, we have nothing against being Finnish. It actually sounds pretty cool. But we believe in full transparency, so we are not. Besides, the blue and white package could also mean we are from Greece (but please don't start that rumor). For 100% clarity, we asked the guy who chooses all the colors on all packages, Lars.

As the first oat drink company in the world and the inventors of the modern oat drink, that headline makes perfect sense to us. If you think drinking fibre sounds strange, wait till you hear what some of them are called! and what's even stranger to me is that i can't mention the name without including a long footnote. But that's ok, it's a pretty interesting and hearty footnote, and i recommend it wholeheartedly while making a hand-heart with my fingers, if you know what i mean. Oh, and the fibres are called oat beta-glucans.
