You will need:
Meat (Chicken/Beef/Mutton) - 1 kg
Onions (medium, sliced) - 3-4 (300 g)
Yogurt (beaten) - 1 1/4 cup (250 g)
Ginger paste - 1 tbsp
Garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Ginger (julienne) - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1 cup (200 g)
National Quorma Recipe Mix - 1 packet
Cooking method
Preparation 15 mins
Cooking 20-30 mins
Serves 6-8 persons
Fry onions in hot oil until golden brown. Then remove from oil, spread on paper and crush. In the same oil, fry meat, ginger and garlic on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add yogurt and National Quorma Recipe Mix. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
Add 1 cup of water for chicken or 2-3 cups for beef/mutton. Cover and cook on low heat until the meat is tender.
Simmer
Add crushed fried onion. Simmer until the oil separates from gravy.
Garnish with julienne ginger and serve with hot naan or taftan.
