To Clean: Before first use clean the product. Top rack dishwasher safe. To remove the valve for cleaning, put index finger under heart tab and pull up straight. Periodically remove and clean the clear plastic ring seal. Remove the sealing ring by rolling down the cup, gentle levering maybe required. When reassembling, reattach the valve to the lid by pushing the valve in the middle, directly on top of the heart.
