Like this refreshing Rosé made with leading producer Chainier in the Loire. We chose this blend of Gamay and Cabernet Franc as it combines lovely red fruit flavours with an elegant style typical of Touraine wines.

Taste: Pretty raspberry and redcurrant aromas with a refreshingly elegant palate.

Formed in 1973, Pierre Chainier is both a négociant and the owner of some 250 hectares of vines in the heart of Touraine, from which it sources classic Loire varieties.

Blended from predominantly Gamay and Cabernet Franc from vines situated to the south-east of Tours, on the slopes between the Cher and Loire rivers. The nature of the soils here is very varied, with "perruches" (flint clays), "aubuis" (clay-limestone on chalky soil) and sands on clays of the eastern zone; but also light gravel.
